EMASK has created a new standard for batter's facemasks. Made of polycarbonate, there are no bars to interfere with the batter's direct or peripheral vision. It fits virtually every batting helmet on the market. Although the EMASK is extremely light weight, don't let that light weight deceive you...this polycarbonate is TOUGH. EMASK is NOCSAE Certified for the helmets I carry; Adams BH-40 and , Rawlings CoolFlo Metallic. It also fits Adams BH-65, Wilson A-5240, Wilson A5350, Wilson A-5256, Schutt 2794, Schutt 2788, Nike BP0032 ETN.
- TOUGH - it has survived ball-brearings fired from air-cannon at 100+ MPH. This mask has taken direct impacts from baseballs thrown by pitchers standing 10' away that have actually broken the helmet, while the EMASK itself remained intact and connected to the helmet. I've seen video of this mask being run over by a Chevrolet Surburban and it did not break! That's the level of safety you should be looking for when your kids are concerned.
- VISION - There are no bars. If light refraction or glare is a concern, relax - it's not a problem. My initial thoughts took me there as well, but after using it, I can tell your 1st-hand it is not a problem at all.
- SAFETY - Why are masks becoming manditory? One reason, safety. EMASK provides better coverage. Wire masks, may not cover the chin and jaw adequately. Compare them...the EMASK provides more protection...period.

This is the newest and most effective facemask product in the head and facial protective gear industry for baseball and softball hitters. This mask is going to obsolete standard plastic-coated metal bar types of masks. The EMASK is so technologically ahead of the other guys, they don't even realize they are being obsoleted.
**Note - The EMask makes most helmets fit just a little tighter because it squeezes the ear flaps of the helmet just a bit. If the EMask has been installed on the helmet, neither the helmet nor the EMask may be returned.
